To create a painting comprised (made up of) my family's faces
which: focuses on their facial features by
zooming in, their faces large, filling the picture plane,;
communicates their mood(s) through facial ex-
pression; and, through my correct use of SHAPE, VALUE, LINE &
SPACE, shows the correct/approximate
PROPORTIONS of a human face.
●
Analyze and simplify complex 3-Dimensional Forms (down to) their
basic (2-D) shape(s) & values (lights &
darks) in order to draw a likeness of the form.
●
Use a tool (paintbrush handle/pencil) to measure a form/face, to
get correct angles, & use these measure-
ments and angles to analyze painted faces for accurate proportions.
